The Iron Hook to King Tut Submission Series was developed by Adisa Banjoko. He is a purple belt at Heroes Martial Arts in San Jose, CA. He developed it while Adisa was training with his instructor, Alan "Gumby" Marques, fusing it with a position he found in Kid Peligro's book, The Essential Guard (slightly altering the grip). The Iron Hook is a unique way to grip an opponent with one arm, that traps both of the arms of your opponent. The Iron Hook breaks the posture of your opponent and keeps them off center from their base. Look for more sweeps, submissions and chokes from this position soon.
