LISTEN: A War Song For Peace, by Dr. James Peterson
Dr. James Peterson has been one of the leading scholars today proving the value of Hip-Hop as an educational tool. A while back he released an EP called Headphones that was executive produced by education icon Michael Eric Dyson. The EP features Talib Kweli and Mr. Lif among others. This song however, really stood out to me from day one. I hope to soak it up, and get the LP. Keep in mind, he does NOT rap on here. He talks....others rap. It's deep. Enjoy.
