The wisdom of Master Po...Opened the eyes of my youth...
So many things can be said of the TV series Kung Fu. I have conflict in my head and heart over much of the racial and cultural mindgames that the show played on its audience. There is the betrayal of Bruce Lee...At the same time, there were things I got from Kung Fu, that I kept with me all my life. The idea that you (as an individual) are sacred. That you should not let people abuse you and yet, you do not have to seek their destruction....So many valuable things...Sometimes hearing the voice of Master Po just really brings me peace. I know that may sound corny, and it may be to some degree- but it is true.
